Funeral and Memorial Live Streaming in Sacramento

Three Angle Production live streams funerals, memorial services and celebrations of life across the Sacramento region from $850. The Memorial Stream includes one camera, up to two hours on site, a private watch page and a recording of the service, so relatives who can't travel can still be there.

We handle the camera, sound and internet from the side or back of the room. The family shares one link, and nobody at the service has to touch a phone.

Where we stream

  • Funeral home chapels that don't have their own camera system, or where the family wants a better camera angle or a recording to keep.
  • Churches, including funeral Masses and memorial services. We coordinate with the church office on camera placement and any parish rules.
  • Celebrations of life in halls, wineries, parks, clubhouses and family homes.
  • Gravesides and committals. At VA national cemeteries, including the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery near Dixon, committal services are held in shelters away from the gravesite and generally run about 20 minutes, including military honors. Check with the cemetery office about filming rules before the day; we can help coordinate.

Keeping the stream private

Families usually want the service seen by relatives and friends, not by the public. The Memorial Stream uses a private watch page: no ads, no suggested videos and no comments from strangers. People who have the link can watch.

If the family prefers YouTube, we use an unlisted link. It won't appear in search, and viewers don't need a Google account. Facebook works for families who already share news there, but Facebook removes live videos after 30 days, so we don't recommend it as the only copy.

Music at a streamed service

Tell us which songs will play and when. On YouTube, recorded commercial music can cause the stream to be replaced with a placeholder image or interrupted. Live hymns and public-domain pieces are lower risk, and churches that stream worship music usually hold a streaming license. A private watch page isn't scanned by YouTube's system, though music rights still apply. On YouTube or Facebook, we may lower a recorded track or show a photo slide while it plays.

How it works

  1. Call or request a quote. Tell us the date, start time, venue and how many people may be speaking.
  2. We confirm the details with the family contact and the funeral home, church or venue: camera position, power, the order of service and who receives the link.
  3. We check the internet. If the venue's connection is weak or missing, we bring bonded cellular, which combines several mobile networks.
  4. On the day, we arrive early, set up and test, then open the stream a few minutes before the service with a title slide or photo.
  5. Afterward, the family receives the recording.

What the family provides

  • One contact person for the day
  • The order of service, with start time and speakers
  • A list of songs and any slideshow
  • A photo and the name as it should appear on the watch page
  • The venue contact, so we can confirm access and power

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to live stream a funeral in Sacramento?

Our Memorial Stream is $850 and includes one camera, up to two hours on site, a private watch page and a recording. A one-camera stream with up to three hours live is $1,000, and a two-camera stream is $1,750.

Can only invited people watch?

Yes. We stream to a private watch page or an unlisted YouTube link that doesn't appear in search. The family decides who receives the link.

Can people watch later?

Yes. The service is recorded, and the family receives a copy. Relatives in other time zones can watch the replay.

What if the venue has no Wi-Fi?

We can stream over bonded cellular, which combines several mobile networks into one connection. We check the venue's internet before the day.

Can you stream a graveside or committal service?

Yes, as part of the package or as a second location after a chapel service. At national cemeteries, committal services take place in a shelter and generally last about 20 minutes.

Will the camera be distracting?

The camera usually sits at the side or back of the room. The family decides what is shown, including whether an open casket appears on camera.

How soon do we need to book?

Call as soon as the date is set. Funerals are often arranged within days, and we keep that in mind when scheduling.

Can music be played during the stream?

Yes. Tell us the songs in advance. Recorded commercial music can trigger interruptions on YouTube and Facebook, so we plan around it or use the private watch page.
